Wait so where is 16A & 17A?!

Day 6

Sunday is our last day in Saigon and in this awesome apartment 😦
For the record, I could totally live here, David and Lien would probably have to agree to move out first, hmm.

1st Lesson we learned on Sunday: We have way too much stuff! After finally packing up and carrying everything we have a new goal; Give away anything that is not essential.

We made one more stop at the mall for Starbucks, lunch where the food keeps cooking on a hot plate called “Pepper Lunch” and Japanese Ice Cream!

Van you could totally survive here look at the Ice Cream Flavors!!!

Midnight Sleeper Bus to Dalat

So the sleeper bus leaves at midnight and arrives about 6am.

Our seats are 16A and 17A. It is a double decker and “A” means bottom and “B” is the top. So we go to the back of the bus and find this:

Now it’s almost midnight, so we are exhausted and it is dark and all I can think is there is no way I can or will fit in this storage area, let alone both of us.
Fortunately after 3 or 4 minutes of panic, it was explained to the girls in “14A & 15A” that they were in our seats and needed to move forward. So here is what our seats actually were like.

Day 7

We arrived about 6am and caught a shuttle to David and Tracy’s house. I think Tracy gave the best directions possible, including “Stop at the Taylor Swift sign, that is our alley.” Then she made us yummy breakfast and after napping we went to dinner at an Indian restaurant. Yum!

We did what is called a Homestay using AirBnB.
It turns out the owners were not in town so we had the whole place to ourselves.

After a very long day traveling, we fell asleep early.

Day 8 will be a motorcycle tour of Dalat!
